We are almost entirely funded by external funders who want to make life easier for local people and improve sustainability.

Community Pots

We were granted £5,000 from Community Pots in April 2025, but this wasn't enough to start the project until we were able to secure additional funding. 

Lancaster City Council

We were granted nearly £5,000 from the city council in March 2026. They were keen that we added them, and other organisations, as sub-libraries, and to generally promote lending in the Lancaster district.
